We don't take a position on vaccines. We tell you which practices will take your family, and we show you exactly where that information came from.
Where listings come from
Every practice starts from the public National Provider Identifier (NPI) registry published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. It lists every licensed clinician and organization in the country with a practice address and phone number. That is why you'll see practices with no policy information: they exist, we just don't know their policy yet.
Verification tiers
Public record only. No policy information.
The practice's own website states a vaccine policy. We quote the sentence and link to the page. This covers strict policies too, so you can skip the call.
One or two parents told us what the office said, or the practice appears on a community-maintained list that we cite. Reports are reviewed before they appear.
Three or more consistent parent reports within the last twelve months.
The practice claimed its listing and set its policy in its own words. We ask practices to re-confirm every year, and the badge shows the date.
What we ask
The same questions, every time: Does the practice dismiss families who decline or delay vaccines? Does it accept a delayed schedule? A selective schedule? No vaccines at all? Will it sign state exemption forms? Is it taking new patients, and how does it take payment?
Conflicts and corrections
When new reports contradict a listing, the tier drops back to "parent reported" and a note explains why. A practice can dispute or update its listing at any time by claiming it, and disputes pause the badge until resolved. Email hello@yespeds.com for anything else.
What we don't do
We don't publish medical advice or claims about vaccine safety, we don't copy other people's writing, and we don't scrape private groups. Policies change, so call before your first visit.
